Welcome Reception
The welcome reception opening ceremony will take place on Monday, 9th October in the Plenary room, followed by drinks and nibbles in the exhibition area, from 6:00-7:30PM. The reception will allow delegates to socialise and meet with exhibitors and partners, as well as catch up with old friends.
The welcome reception is included in the registration fee.
Conference Dinner
We have a beautiful venue for this year’s conference dinner. It will be a chance to network with great food, drinks, live music, and the famous traditional Scottish Ceilidh dancing. We will also have the Red Hot Chili Pipers to entertain us.
The Assembly Rooms is one of Edinburgh city centre’s largest and most impressive spaces. The Georgian building has been restored to her former glory. It is elegantly designed with glittering crystal chandeliers, gleaming gold leaf and impressive gilt mirrors reflecting the history and tradition of the building.
The dinner will take place on Tuesday, 10th October from 7:30PM.

Closing Drinks
A chance to say farewell to old friends and new, and look back at the highlights of ISCoS 2023. The closing ceremony will take place on Wednesday 11th October, in the Plenary room, from 4:55PM with a closing reception with drinks and nibbles from 5:25-6:15PM.
